UFCC’s IT infrastructure needed to be changed to provide a more robust and flexible base to run the business. Multipro worked with UFCC to balance the business requirements and risks with the cost and functionality of the IT Infrastructure.

Once clarity on the outcome was agreed, Multipro consolidated the existing UFCC server farm and provided high availability features through virtualization of the servers and shared storage in the form of a Storage Area Network (SAN).

The Server Farm Upgrade Project was performed in two distinct phases, the first being virtualization of the majority of physical servers, reducing the amount of physical servers to 4. The second phase included deployment of the SAN with failover interconnects to the physical servers.
